BigBaitB
Has anyone ever made a 2 piece open pour mold? I want to make a mold for line through swim baits but I don't have an injector and I like pouring laminates. Anyways I'm just looking to see if anyone has advice or experience to share on doing this
Chance_Taker4
I use the two piece top pour molds from Lurecraft. I can say that the biggest thing is to make sure you pour SLOW. If you pour fast air will trap in it and the baits wont come out right. Also I like warming my plastic up a little more and make it really liquid to pour easier. I go back over the last layer while it's still hot and top it off, so there's less of a dent on the back. If the last bit of plastic doesn't blend in completely because it's cooled a little, I hit it with heat gun to remelt it and smooth it out.
