Flexibility is uder-rated. with topcoats. If it is too hard it will chip and crack. Devcon 2 ton can be too hard (esp when put on thick. Thinning it a little with DNA  seems to make it a little more flexible. Thinner epoxies like E tex and Art resin are more flexible. Some automotive and concrete sealers, as well as polyeurethane can react with your paint.

very good point,i think a mix or something not too hard is better.polyurethane never chip but you get hooks rash after just a day of trolling.i think i will try createx paint and etex it sound well lol and i think it  will react well. what's dna?

I put clean nail polish over the areas that normally get hook rash, no matter which top coat I'm using, and that cuts way down on it.
