rynesgto
I was just wondering what everyone is using underneath their tubes as they cut them using a angling A.I type cutter. I have no problem hitting the cutter with a mallet, but I have no idea what to set the tube on. Best thing I have found so far is a phone book, but I eventually wear that out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

demonstraten
Hmm, you know, the solution with this piece of wood is really ingenious. So, you can give me a try if it really works. Not so long ago, I also started developing my own jar crusher. It was interesting to develop your own project. In general, initially I wanted to purchase a beer can crusher. And then I thought that I could, given my education as an engineer, develop it myself. Do you think I can do it? If anyone is interested, I am ready to share my experience. I hope there are those who do the same. Edited May 27, 2022 by demonstraten

I’m retired but worked with engineers and learned so many fascinating things. It was often the best part of my job.
