Bholtzinger14
New guy here. I decided I wanted to start making my own soft plastics. I get to fish about once a week from my kayak and the amount of gear I carry is limited. I seem to use the same soft plastics about every trip (swimbaits the most as jig trailers, chatterbait trailers and by themselves with underspins. Next is craws as jig trailers, pitching them, and even on shakey heads). That being said I will probably never break even from buying molds or will I use them to make for other people. Now for my question. I purchased 5 artificial stone molds ($136.90 worth) from baitmolds yesterday. I am trying to decide if I want to change my order to 2-3 aluminum molds or just try to use the less expensive stone molds to start off with. Any opinions? raywillett
go with the aluminum! I hear the stone mold are a pain to work with. Also the trade value is higher for the aluminum.
