fshng2
This motor is the one I use for fly tying. 5 to 6 RPM is a perfect turning speed with enough torque to turn flies. https://m.ebay.com/itm/New-Stock-Synchronous-Synchron-Motor-50-60Hz-AC-110V-4W-5-6RPM-CCW-CW-J96J-/262352585850 Edited November 24, 2017 by fshng2

Phileas Fogg
I used a motor off of one of those motorized wire reindeer christmas decorations. It does 5 rpm
geo315
I use the small motor from a microwave turntable to rotate my lures while the epoxy cures. Homemade rig but it works great. Geo.
FishCandy
I used to do the same as geo. I buy them now because I use them for plugs, and the salvaged ones keep wearing out on me. The TYC ones I use now have metal innards instead of vinyl. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xrobust+motors+for+microwave.TRS0&_nkw=robust+motors+for+microwave&_sacat=
Chuck Young
I use the microwave motor also. I direct drive to a 1" pvc pipe. A section of swim noodle goes over the pipe. Flies and jigs can be inserted directly into the foam. The rate of rotation is perfect. The direction of rotation is random. Plenty of burned out microwaves around. DylanCarey
Agreed, a small motor from a microwave can be the best thing in this case. Also, I was searching for different options and found https://writebestessay.com/how-can-you-deal-with-research-paper-writing/ which posted an article about home engineer tools for fishing.
