emptystringer81
Just wondering if anyone has tried this glitter from spike it? If so do you have a decent picture of a bait with it? Thanks in advance
School Master
I've been eyeing it for a while. It's not cheap that's for sure. I will probably get some eventually. I've been wanting something like this and have failed with many other options.
Gus1969
I am happy with it.

School Master
Thanks for the picture Walleye. I have to admit it looks different than I thought it would look. I'm going to order some today.

emptystringer81
It' like a holographic purple it looks like
Basseducer
It is holographic and the color needed for Yamamoto "watermelon violet"
bryanmc
How does it hold up to reheats?
Basseducer
I was pouring from a Presto Pot and did not need to re-heat. Although it did well for the duration of the session, about 30 minutes.
walleyeking
It does look different in a clear plastic and you do use more than you think to get the desired effect. As far as reheats it does ok you have to be a little careful. If you get it too hot the purple just kind of disappears. I might have a pic of clear with just a bit of pearl and sparkle violet. I'll see if I can find it.
walleyeking
Not a great pic but its all I have right now. This bait was clear with a very small amount of pearl and sparkle violet and black glitter. One thing I don't like about it is you can see the kind of orange yellowish color in the glitter in clearer baits.
DaveMc1
12 hours ago, Basseducer said: It is holographic and the color needed for Yamamoto "watermelon violet" It's more iridescent than anything (not a holographic) and very similar to a hilite (mica) powder. Flashes a very vibrant violet in the right light and can be transparent in the right light.
emptystringer81
walleye what is the trick to taking that good of a picture of baits? I seem to really have a hard time taking pictures of baits to get all the detail to show
walleyeking
I find the best pictures are with a white background under fluorescent light. I just use my phone and you need to be close when taking the picture. Most of my pics are from about 6" away.
