Jig Man
I have read on here about bending the "chatter bait" blades and which way for which application. My question is does it matter where you put the bend, middle/ upper portion/ or where?
Anglinarcher
It does, but I can only say it depends a lot on the "blades" you have and what you want. With the blades I have (had a large stock for some time now), I only bend the upper third, and not very much. I have observed that the little bend in that location seems to get the blade moving quicker/sooner.
cadman
I bend the upper third of the blade as well. That formula works for me on my blades. The question now lies on how much to bend. I usually start at 20 degrees up.
