ChrisNick78
How do you figure out how much salt or glass media to add into senkos to get the right fall rate. I have using bass pro senkos and I want to match their fall rate
mark poulson
To match he original Senko I added a cup of salt/blast media to two cups of plastisol. BPS must be close to that. Add softener because the salt will make your baits stiffer. I add one teaspoon per cup of plastic. Play around with how much softener until you get the wiggle you want. Do you weigh them all to match weight
Anglinarcher
You would need weight and volume to calculate density. The more volume, the more weight you need if you were trying to match that part, then adjust softener to get the proper "wiggle".

Ok I weighed both the 1 I made and the bass pro senko the only difference between the 2 is a 1/4 inch in length and they both weigh 6 grams and I haven't add anything to the one I made. Thank you for the advise

hpssports
It will also depend on the brand of plastic you use. Some sinks, some is more neutral, & some floats. Each type of plastic will require a different amount of salt to get the same fall rate. You'll have to do lots of testing to see what works for the type of plastic you're using.
