Painter1
I use some flashabou in a lot of the jigs I make. A lot of experimentation has helped dial it in for hair, silicon & combo jigs. I owe a lot to Small jaw and his instructive videos. He sets the imagination to work. I bought this stand/wheel from barlow’s but as you can see in the picture not all of the packaged material fit well in it. your thoughts and suggestions are most welcome. Anglinarcher
Great idea, but I see that it needs to be taller and the groves need to be wider, and I would make the wheel bigger to hold more options. Looks like a fairly simple project for the woodworkers here. I would do it for you but I and my wife sold all of my woodworking tools before our last move. Good Fishing
Painter1, For the stand to work properly, you need to insert the flashabou so it cascades (for lack of a better word) over the edge of the stand. For flashabou, that means inserting the wired end into the hole on the stand. For flashabou accent you should insert the zip tie around the center. Here are a few pics that hopefully explain what I mean: Hope this helps. If you're still unhappy with the stand you can PM me and we'll arrange a return.
