Coley
You can buy copper colored paint at Walmart, look in craft dept. Then go to the sewing dept and buy the Tule or netting. I think it 57" wide and sold by the yard for around $2.57 and comes in a couple mesh sizes. Coley
cullin8s
Can't get createx paints at walmart but they make a mettalic copper color. If you have to mix i would try some orange in gold that should get you pretty close to copper.
Mylures
I got metalic copper at Walmart. They had several metalic colors, Red, Blue, Copper, Gold, Silver, Black, Green, and Purple. These paints are in the crafts section. Ken Schmitz

ckarren
I use laundry bags sold at Wal-Mart in the cleaning supplies. I need bigger scales for my musky lures. They are about 2.00 per bag. -Corey
kellure
Forgot to add this tidbit earlier, the netting that holds kids toys in bath tubs and rooms makes good scaling material. Just dont let them find out that you've cut their bags into fifty 3" X 5"pieces KL www.customluresunlimited.com
Art Brush
For smaller scale netting you can also get a dip net from the pet area in walmart for $1.00. Looks sharp on smaller crankbaits Walmart also sold a brand of acrylic paint called "Liquitex" if you can find it anywhere it's great for metallics. SpoRoller
Yes, you can look all over Wal-Mart and find stuff to use for scales. The stuff I use is some sort onf netting but I forget the exact name of it. Thing I like about it is the softness and how it stretches. Makes it easy to put over the bait and the softness doesn't scratch the bait. As for the copper color, I love the automotive paint by Createx. It is a truer cooper than the standard Createx. Two good coats and it looks just like a new penny!
