Kscatman76
Been making my own chatterbaits with the help of everyone on here. They are awesome and they work great! I have been bending my blades, however i see alot for sale on facebook or even tacklewarehouse where the people are selling and fishing them as is and don't bend them? So what do you do and why? Anglinarcher
Depends. Take some to the water and test one bent, one un-bent. I find that on many of mine (have blades from different sources) that I don't need to bend them, but on others I need to bend them to get them to work at slower speeds. I wish I could tell you where I got the ones that don't need bending but I mixed them without thinking.
Apdriver
I bend mine as they vibrate good even at a slow roll speed. I’ve caught my best fish fishing them slow and bumping cover.
