Landry
Can u guys give me any advice on setting up a heated pot system that I can dip my painted soft musky baits in. Needs to be large enough to accommodate 10" musky baits!!!! Also - can I get buy just using the same Lurecraft saltwater plastisol to dip with or is there an ideal dipping plastisol to use and does the plastisol not turn yellow over time in the pot. I suppose I could just dip lures first and then pour the rest as new lures to avoid reheating!?? Thanks guys - I finally have my lure designs where I want them but want to explore degassing some silicon molds and possibly dipping after I paint with Lurecraft SB Coat as my lures look nice BUT a perfectly smooth clear coat would be absolute perfection. Flippinstick Mike
Spike it makes a product called clearasol just foir this purpose. Maybe a Presto pot would be deep enough or even a fry daddy pot. (Smaller version of the Preston pot) another option are glass beakers. You can get then iin an array of sizes they're microwave safe like p tres but narrow & tall cylindrical shape.
