fishon-son Posted March 31, 2018 Report Share Posted March 31, 2018 so Ive made and dipped 100 1 oz jigs for walleye fishing a local river rolled some into glitter all are dried and oven set all look great question is my store bought house made jig have a coating on the ones with glitter making the smooth to the touch...store wont give up what he dose to get this..but sells all the powder paints and glitter.....its not epoxy.. anyone know? JimP Posted March 31, 2018 Report Share Posted March 31, 2018 Might try CSI Seal Coat, a water base urethane product. Near epoxy qualities without the mixing hassle and dries very quickly. You will need apply at room temp and rotate for about an hour, more if humidity is high. One coat might be all it takes for a painted jig.
