nimzo63
Hi guys, this is my first topic and I'm very sorry if my question has been already posted in the past. I'm going to buy Calhoun from Del-Mart. Do I need any additive to get my worms or 1 Gal. Pail of Calhoun Super Soft Plastic does the job by itself? Many thanks in advance Gianluca
woodsac
Welcome aboard! Calhoun is soft enough for some people. But, if you want it super soft then you will need to add softener. Start by adding about 1/3 cup of softener per gallon. I personally add about 2.5 cups per 5 gallons of plastic. Hope this helps. Good luck. GB GONE
For worms, I add 1/4 cup softner per gallon. For chunks or trailers, I don't add any softner. I will usually add 1/8 cup or no softner per cup for my stik baits (senkos). Just my 2 cents..Have fun pouring, its a blast!!!!! Jim PS Don't forget scent and salt (if you want it)!!
