SpoonMinnow
I know this forum is about making soft plastic lures from molds, especially TU molds, but a few years ago I started using molded lure parts and fusing them together to make unique lures that I've found worked better than many lures straight from the mold. Does anyone do this?
Uncle Arnies Tackle
Saw someone talking about this on a different site, but all the photo links were busted. I swap out skirts / tails by melting a small amount and sticking them together.
Walking Dead
Yes, when tinkering on designs. I use a soldering iron with various tips to fuse pieces together and test the action.
Anglinarcher
Not much anymore, but in the 80's we made "creature lures" that way. We would use either a hot flame or iron to splice different tails or appendages to lures. Some were just downright weird, but they worked. Roger Linnell
I've made molds from hybids
