tukta
Hi I was wondering what's it like to use enamel paint and the clean up after. Is it worth it I think that there is more metallic just looking opinions
Anglinarcher
I have used enamel paint, in my youth, and in my old age, I strongly suggest that there are lots of much better options. It is just a real pain.
woodieb8
enamels are tuffer then water base. we use some. cleanup requires solvents. if you use fast dry enamels there ok..always remember .you can use enamel over lacquers but not lacquers over enamels. Saugerman
I believe Anglinarcher , gave you sound advice. Sure you can use enamel, but what a pain to clean up. I don't like using solvents , if I don't have to.
MonteSS
Absolutely no reason to use enamel. There are plenty of water based paints available. Metallic s wont spray through most .030-.050 guns anyway. Use of pearls and dusting them will give a sparkly look. flake in clear too. 1
