Sloppy
Hello tackle makers. Im new to tackle making(about 2 months) and have been making balsa squarebills only. Has anyone used tungsten electrodes for additional weight under the bill of their balsa baits? I use the belly weights with the hook hangers but want a more nose down profile in the water. Thanks and great forum. Sloppy
BobP
I sometimes use tungsten shot for added weight since it doesn’t need much room to install. But I don’t see any reason to use it over lead when there’s room. It’s all ballast.
Sloppy
Thank you. It is just ballast. I just have a large quantity on tungsten electrodes. Edited August 30, 2018 by Sloppy More detail
