Stemy
I'm new at making lures. I was wondering if I could get some information on these jigs. Like what material and tools I will need to make them.
cadman
Blades, clevices, beads, wire, hair, thread and jigs you can buy them at Lure Parts On Line. All else you will need is a pair of long nose pliers to bend the wire, This would be the easiest way to accomplish this. If you are looking to pour and paint your own jigs, that is a who;e different process and will require some time to master. I have a tutorial somewhere I can e-mail you if you are interested on start-up. PM me your e-mail. You can also go on You Tube and look for "Smalljaws " tutorial on how to tie hair on jigs. This will get you started, and the rest is a lot of practice. Edited January 7, 2019 by cadman
Stemy
I don't think I want to get into pouring my own jigs heads yet. What kind of jig heads are on these?
cadman
To me they look custom made. It is a 60 degree hook straight eye hook. I've never see a head like that, maybe someone else will comment. However, you probably can use a round head or a Snootie which would probably work. You have a PM.

Jeff Hahn
I would bet that's a custom made jig head.
Stemy
Here is a closer look at the jig head. Not sure if it's a banana or custom one.
gaspumper
On a blown up picture of the jigs looks like a regular jig hook, but it looks like the hair is in the lead you cant see any thread.
Stemy
I think they painted over the thread where they tied the hair on.
