cadman
Round nose pliers to close loops tighter. What do you mean by reinforce?

If you are referring to keeping the main line from riding up over the "R" bend, than you can use braid as Jigman mentioned, or you can use rubber skirt collars and slide that over the bend as well. mark poulson
I use 28 gauge gardening wire instead of braid, because it's easier for me to handle. Once it's in place, I reinforce it with crazy glue.
bladesandbaits
Cut a small 1/8 inch long piece of 1/8 or 3/16 inch heat shrink (depending on the r-bend diameter). Slip it over the "r" bend and heat to shrink. Regards, Blades
