southernmost
I've been trying to get a bright chartreuse tail dip on my dark soft plastics for a while (tried base coating with white), but just can't seem to make it work very well. I know it can be done, because Kelly Wiggler Lures does it perfectly (see attached). They have been chartreuse dipping dark colors for forever. Anyone know how/what they do/use to get such a good tail dip?

For small jobs you could consider the Worm Paint in Unscented or Garlic here: https://www.ispikeit.com/category/4/lure-paints For even bigger jobs or production work you could step up to their VPI series here: https://www.ispikeit.com/category/85/vpi-paint That should keep you busy.

Is there a difference in the vpi paint and the solvent based paint?
William DeMent
Hi Frank I was told by Bruce that it the same paint just uncut more of a solid Concentrate version . VPI needs to be cut with thinners
