cope102
I just got a spray gun for powder from barlows and I have a 60 psi compressor and have it regulated to about 8-10 psi. My question is how can i spray and not have to much over spray? or is that possible? Any tips or advice for using a powder spray gun would be greatly appreciated! cadman
Yep, Smalljaw is the man that has been doing this a long time and the expert on this process. He will probably chime in, but in the meantime watch his video and practice, practice and more practice.
smalljaw
You will get overspray but there are ways to limit it. The first is air pressure, if your regulator allows it try to get it under 5 psi. The second thing is getting close and using short quick pulses rather than just holding the trigger down. After that it is just practice, and remember, you aren't going to get fine detail like a regular airbrush and paint but you can layer and blend colors really well.
Basseducer
And remember that you can recover the over spray and use it again as long as you collect it.
