Jig Man
Anyone got a contact on the wire used by VMC?
ute
Proberos Fishing. He is in China but they are reliable and the shipping is pretty fast. They also have an Ebay store. I bought 100 of the wires from them, the wires are about an inch longer than VMC, maybe not quiet as heavy, but they worked fine for me. Apdriver
So how’s it fish, for those members that have tried it? When the A Rig first came along, I thought a bass would never bite that. Boy was I wrong!
21xdc
I don't see the need for the down swivel... Lots of hardware for sure.
azsouth
I do not use a down swivel, so far no problems.
rhahn427
I’ve built and used the Tokyo rigs and they work. I bought the long stem swivels from China and I like them because it allows the lure to rotate 360 degrees with little resistance and a little better action without line twist. I actually make mine with ear ring stops to hold the weight where I want it for different purposes and so I can change weights as needed quickly without having to bend the wire ends. It also allows the weights to pull off if snagged.
