Cliff
Anyone here ever come up with effective solution for dust collection when rounding over flat sided baits on router table?
Vodkaman
I never did add dust collection to my table router. There are two methods; top fence or underside box. There are plenty of videos on YouTube. here is a good video explaining the underside box method. Dave

Cliff
Thanks for the input. I'm kinda embarrassed to to post a pic of what I came up with after seeing video of workshop above lol. Here's what I came up with and actually works great. It's hooked up to a 2 HP dust collector. Did 300 PVC lures with it so far and hardly a spec of dust. Usually looks like a snow storm!
Vodkaman
Oh yes, that'll do the trick. Still plenty of room to move around. You shouldn't be working the far side anyway, extremely dangerous. Keep your sleeves rolled up when working the router. Dave
Cliff
Yeah. Don't touch the shiny silver piece... I've done thousands over the years and never been bit but gotta pay attention. Not a time to be drinking lol.
Vodkaman
I bought a new circular saw. Its layout was slightly different to my old one. First time of using I touched the side of the blade. Fortunately it only ripped my nail off! Correct, no alcohol, except as a disinfectant Dave
