Texaco33
Does anyone know how Roboworm is pouring their FX worms and or tried it? Its multi layered but in a sputter pattern but not sure how to do same effect on pours. TIA!
DaveMc1
They are using a machine to pour their baits and stumbled on that pattern when the machine broke, they managed to duplicate it. other than that I couldn't tell you.
Infidel
Some of the real good hand pour guys, like Ken Mathews, are able to reproduce it with a Lee's pot. Not as perfect as the Robo but pretty darn close.

Wow......not the first and probably won't be the last time something awesome happened because of a mistake!
squigster
If you search southern plastics on YouTube they show the Roboworms being hand poured by a machine. Similiar to a CNC machines except its injecting plastic not cutting but same idea. I beleive its near the end of the video but still worth watching the whole thing.

Southern Plastics doesn't manufacture RoboWorm's baits, they use those machines to pour baits for Zoom and Strike King currently. RoboWorm has been using a different machine that they designed themselves (Greg Stump's dad built it) decades ago.
