Gus1969
Can you seal silicone molds. My worms come with out a shine.
mark poulson
I get a shinier bait if I spray my silicone molds with PAM cooking spray first, and after every other pour.

I really like how it makes boot tail swimbaits easier to demold without stretching warm plastic out of shape. keakar
are these molds you made yourself? or store bought molds? i saw some videos that mentioned you should never use anything but brand new baits to make molds and you need to lube them first or it can cause deformed and rough textured molds
mark poulson
They are Lurecraft silicone top pour one piece molds. I've been using the same molds for more than 10 years, and they still pour fine. https://www.lurecraft.com/SILICONE-OPEN-POUR-MOLDS/departments/34/
Landry
As your mold warms the worms will come out shinier and shinier. Pam helps too.
Long Lake Lures
If you want to resurface the cavity, you can cast a bait with resin, apply gloss so that it shines the way you want and then add fresh silicone to the cavity. Scrape off the excess and allow it to set up. Sometimes the silicone from a newly poured mold will stick to the master. This is the technique I use to save the mold
