Blisters
Hi guys, i'm new here and already love this forum! I am using a Do-It Walleye jig mold making the smaller sizes, #6 and #4 Eagle Claw hooks. Is there a tool or trick to loading those small hooks into a hot mold? Thanks for your help! Jig Man
Sometimes I lay the hook as close as I can then use a tooth pick to finish getting it into position.
Blisters
Thanks Jig Man, I was going to try a small wooden dowl or maybe a small rectangular piece maybe 1 inch wide with a small groove in the end. I will try that tomorrow and let you know how it works.
21xdc
I have heard some adjust with a small paint brush.
Blisters
Thanks 21xdc that softer more forgiving touch might be just the ticket.
cadman
I have the mold you are referring to. I have tried numerous items, I found that doing it quickly with your finger is the fastest. You can also try wooden coffee stirrers.

The reverse style worked best for me, but the one I had was slightly magnetic, and gave me fits trying to release the properly positioned metal part! So, I’m back to the standard one.
