madbass
Can you generally get the same "wiggling" action out of a "Tiki" stik as you do from a regular "senko" stik? Assuming you use the same mixture. I'm considering the kit offered by Del-mart to get started.
GB GONE
Absolutely!!! Check out Del's plastic recipes on the front page of his website. I tend to use a little less salt but its not as deep here in the south in most of our lakes/ponds. If I'm going to fish deeper (>10 ft) I will use Del's mixture to the "t". I've been pouring for only 3 months now and stick come out perfect every time. Jim PS Is this madbass that had the Skeeter SS90 for sale in WI?? Saw it on Ebay and BBC...looked great. Hope you got it sold if this is you..
Delw
Madbass Since the first one I made I havent used a senko since, the action to me is alot better than the senko style. if I wacky rig them the tails moves alot more than the main body just like a real dying shad. if I hook the normal the tail really looks live. They also cast a heck of alot farther and sink a tad faster. this can be adjust buy the amount of salt you put into the bait. you can also get these bait down to suspend fish that are in 20-40 feet of water alot faster than a stik Delw
madbass
Gabass, no I did not have a Skeeter, but thanks for the reply. Delw, I'm the one who just E-mailed back and forth with you. I prefer not to use my real name on line. Thanks for the info.
basskat
Is the same two peice mold that I bought Del or are you making something new? I've caught tons of fish using the two piece mold sticks. They have great action. Depending on the time of year I vary the amount of salt used to control fall.
