21xdc
This mold was made from 1980-1983... I have one and looking for another. If anyone here has one they don't need or know where another is, I'm looking for another. Thank You.

You might try contacting Do-It, and asking them if they recognized the mold. They have been making molds for a long time, so they would probably recognize it, even if they didn't make it. Look>>> https://custombaits.com/index.php?topic=12052.0 Man, you're way ahead of me! Of course, my kids will tell you that's nothing to brag about. Hahaha Time for a dumb question. Can you take one of the Do-It mold blanks and just carve what you want? I'm a carpenter, so I have no idea what's involved in doing something like that. 21xdc
I'm also a carpenter and have worked with my hands my whole life. I have made some molds from blanks, But I can not get what I need by hand. I wish I had access to a CNC machine, I have lots of ideas I could create. Thanks and keep an eye out for me please.
canuck 2
21xdc your blades are outstanding. You can really see the attention to detail and the passion for your craft. Have you ever considered/tried up sizing to say a 4",5" or 6" blade for pike fishing ? Custom blanks and molds I suppose? Any thoughts or suggestions? Again very nice work! 21xdc
Thank You... Yes, I made some 5+ inch blade baits, But I could not get them to swim right. Too much length and mass to "wag" Kind of like having fletching's on an arrow... Keeps the arrow going strait.
