Some friends are bring me some deer tails to tie jigs with. I thought I would like to dye some. 1) Can I use a Ritt dye? 2)Can I use a permanent marker for smaller amounts? smalljaw Posted December 3, 2019 Report Share Posted December 3, 2019 You can use Rit dye and it works well. A sharpie will work to add stripes or accents but I wouldn't do a lot of hair with it.
