northbassman
To melt the plastic in the microwave can I just use a regular glass measureing cup, that is microwave safe of course? Also when I get the plastic heated up can I use a simple camping cooking stove to keep the plastic warm???? After pooring the plastics how long before they can be taken out of the molds so I can use the molds again? And finally I keep hearing about the pyrex material cups or trays not really sure what people are talking about and when they are used also where do you get these from? I did a search and just couldn't quite find the answer I was looking for on these questions. If anyone could give me some help I would appreciate it. Good forum guys. I must say I looked at the pictures of your guys work and you guys are artists. I hope to one day be able to make a descent looking bait. Thanks again. Delw
Only use pyrex. anchor will work but sometimes it will go kaboom make sure that there is no wet stuff on the counter(wood bench is best) make sure that you are in a room tempature area, ( not in a real cold garage) or it will go kaboom yes a cooking stoove will keep the plastic warm. I like to set a alum plate on it to distrubte the heat evenly wait 1-3 mins and the worms can be pulled out and puired again. sometimes sooner but generally 1-3 mins I use pyrex measureing cups 2 cup ones I get them from walmart
