BuckeyeFishing
What are you guys using to remove the sprue from small jig heads, like 1/32-1/8 oz. Typically with larger jigs and sinkers I just twist them off but with the smaller ones I am bending the hooks and loosening the wire keepers. I know places sell cutters online but I don't want to make an order for a $10 cutter and pay $8 shipping. Is there something I can get from Lowes or Hobby Lobby that would work? I would like something that cuts close so I have minimal file work. TIA!

toadfrog
If you are bending the hook ya might want to check the quality of your lead. Sounds like it pretty tough stuff. Even Wal - Mart carries flush cutters in the jewelry section.

Doug L
I have been using these. I did take a pair of cheap diagonal cutters an grind them into a flush cutter that worked well. https://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/pliers/micro-flush-cutter-90708.html
BuckeyeFishing
Thanks everyone, I picked up a couple pair, one from Hobby Lobby and one from Michaels. They have worked well so far and am not bending the light wire hook or loosening the jighead and the wire keepers.
