Joe S.
Is anyone familiar with the 3.5" zipper worm mold in the supply shop. I have a 4" zipper mold but that is just the zipper part and the tail makes it 5+ inches, more than I wanted, does anyone know if the one in the shop is 3.5 inches total length or is it longer with the tail? If so how much longer? Thanks. It would be good for the river around here, very murky in the spring and the majority of the fish are not that big. alsworms
The one in the supply shop is 3.5 inches including the scoop tail. Worms are usually measured in terms of a straight body. If the bait has a curl tail, it's measured from the head to the first bend in the tail. Paddle tails, split tails, scoop tails, etc. are all measured including the entire tail. Hope this helps. BigZ
I have a quite a few different styles of that mold. with the tail it's 3.5". I have caught a lot of fish on that bait. Great for dropshot and other finesse fishin'. Smallies dig it.
