Pinson Custom Knives
I grew up doing a lot of redfish and trout fishing with live baits. Looking at all the soft plastic shrimp baits in the stores it always bothers me that on the retrieve they don’t move naturally. So I decided to make my own. I doubt it’s an original idea, but I haven’t seen anything like it in stores around here.

Pinson Custom Knives
Thanks. Still new to carving, but getting better. Wanted legs for it, but figured it would be hard to do the appropriate size with a hand pour
Hillbilly voodoo
Now that is what lure making to me is about designing something that fits your vision of what you want a lure to do. Congrats I hope it treats you well and the fish cooperate You mentioned you want legs. Just an idea you might want to try that popped in my head. You could always take strands of skirt material thread it through the body with a needle. A dab of glue shot into the body after to keep them in place and trim to length just a thought there is no lack of size and color options for material

Only idea I had thought of was pouring some plastic on a flat surface and then cutting them out and glueing them. I think I like your idea better lol
Hillbilly voodoo
That’s the advantage of TU sometimes options to a problem from a different train of thought can be handy Now you just need to build one and catch a big fish on it lol
