bassinbad Posted November 19, 2004 Report Share Posted November 19, 2004 obviously im new here but not new to forums.theres a lot of info here to take in .i just had one question as to who supplies the cheapest vinyl plastisol? again im new to this and really want to contribute after i get my feet wet.im working on making a a zulu jig about 4 to 5 " long. i want to design a mold so it can be cast in metal.any info would be great guys ! thanx...sorry i guess it wasnt so quick!! Go with calhoun's...you can contact Delw or Bob at Bobs Tackle Shack for quotes on having your mold made from aluminum. Have a decent prototype bait made that you can send along to whoever you decide to work with. After your bait is made, feel free to send samples around to TU members for field testing !! GB GONE Posted November 23, 2004 Report Share Posted November 23, 2004 Hey bassinbad: Make sure you really mix that 5 gallon bucket well. Like use a drill with a paint stirrer on the end. Otherwise you'll get some baits that won't even harden and some that are a lot harder. You might even want to start out with just a gallon.
