Jig Man
I’ve read everything that I can find and guys were having mixed results using high temp paint as a sealer. I am thinking a light coat of Bondo fiberglass resin might work. I have sealed some homemade molds for a friend and it worked but I have never tried it on a metal mold. Have any of you used it? mark poulson
I would be afraid it would fill in some of the details too much.
Les Young
Whatever you do don’t use high heat krypton like you put on a stove because it won’t set up. It may if you baked it, but I painted some last summer while it was very hot & layed them in the sun to dry. I ended up having to get aircraft stripper & strip the paint off because I painted all I had after watching videos on it & it just never cured right. Then I shot a couple shots of old light colored left over plastic to get them good & clean. I’ll just use them like they are from now on.
