fishordie79
Hey TU Folks! Just wondering what you all use, if anything, to clean your paint brushes after applying epoxy? I usually just throw them away but I’m tired of being so wasteful. How do you all handle this?
Braeden Fox
When I use chip brushes, I just cut off the end of the bristles that get epoxy on them. Usually gets me two uses per brush.

BobP
I use lacquer thinner. Dip the brush, agitate, blot brush on cloth, repeat. I use nylon bristle flat artist brushes. The finer bristles pop epoxy bubbles as I apply it. And the brushes last for years.
daveyg1
I wipe off excess epoxy with paper towel, then sit brush in acetone for a few minutes, then wipe again with paper towel and leave to dry. I've been using the same brush for months Edited March 6, 2021 by daveyg1
