basskat
Best advise is to play with it until you get what you want. Amount of color, glitter, salt, etc... depends on the amount of plastic. If I'm playing with a new color I start off on the light side. If the first pour is'nt the color I'm looking for it goes back into the pan, remelted and more color added. When I get the exact color then I write the formula down. As long as you don't get carried away with your color you can always reuse the plastic. One note about Zoom plastics, they are loaded with salt. I use popcorn salt, un-buttered of course , others on the site use different types.

BigZ
A little bird told me that Zoom uses 3G plastic with 20% salt. As for the color, that's a guessing game. 3G might work good in an injection mold but it sucks for handpouring.
alsworms
For us "normal folks", 3-G plastic is about 8 bucks per gallon. I'll bet Zoom gets it for half that. Add to it that 20 percent of their mix is a cheap grade salt and you can see why they can sell their 6 inch lizards for 14.00 per 100. GB GONE
Any plastic you choose, whether it be Calhouns or MF, you'll be better off than 3G!!! If you caught that many on a zoom mixture, your hand poured, super soft worms will really rock!!! You can play with the glitter and colors but your hand pours will be way softer that zooms stuff!! Plus the fish will hang on a lot longer!!! Jim
CHIBAITS
Why is 3G plastic so hard to pour?? The only problem I've had, is that when I mix different worms together and melt them down the bottom of the pot is full of salt and it makes clean up hard. BigZ
3G just sucks in general, I have had it foam, smoke, turn strange colors and even had it burn to a crisp in less than a minute in the microwave,. Incosistent batches, maybe. Inferior product, yes. If you have an injection molder it might work good for you, but I avoid it like a turd on the sidewalk with no shoes on...LoL.
