Popular Post swimb8s
Here is a gill detail I came up with ( at least have not seen before ) , I am making a top water and flat sided crankbait and will be layering a light color next to collar and darker on top for contrast . Think this will be cool detail

RiverSmallieGuy
Would this be at risk of falling off if I use an aerosol can topcoat?
swimb8s
The paper gills are recessed with the gill plates that help protect them . If you do the same and super glue or a little epoxy to hold in place and then use your Aerosol clear coat to keep the details it shouldn't fall off , but they may be a little bit more fragile . The epoxy keeps them rigid and in place
