madbass
Where do I find the tool for cutting the tails into a tube?
charkins
Lurecraft has one that is fair. Just be sure to put plenty of worm oil on it before you cut the tails. Cal
nova
There are plenty of posts here about them. Just do a search for " tube cutters". Also some pictures.
Jig Man
We use carpet knife blades bolted together, placed in a vise and roll a dowel rod over the tube. Cheap but effective.
nova
That is similar to what I did. I glued the blades in a piece of plywood and I use a large dowel to roll the tubes over the blades. I can cut about a dozen tubes at one time. I posted a picture of it here some time ago.
