Wire forming tools

What’s the best wire former to purchase, in-line spinners without buying two units for smaller and larger wire sizes.

I have the one linked below and it does everything that I need. I also have the wire forming conversion kit. Can't say it's the best because everyone has their own personal opinion. But I really like mine.

Best wire forming tool for me is jewelery pliers. One side is a cone and the other side is a curved channel matching the cone. Not the more common double cone style you'll find at the dollar store. The wire may pinch a bit on the sides, but I round off the edges on the cup side with a file. These pliers along with a needle nose with smooth jaws to make some tight wraps.

Making different size loop, bends or angles, maybe only with pliers?

I have the same unit that Cadman provided a link to mounted to the table in my lure room. It is fast, simple, and easy to use

I own the Hagens with the adapter that Cadman linked to and it works well.

I also have a Twistech with the adapter and a Twistech magnum.

Having used both if I had to own only one I would keep and use the Twistech.

Its just a bit simpler and easier to use.

Both allow unlimited length spinners something the Boggs does not.

Be aware there are fake Twistech formers out there so make sure you're getting the real deal if you decide to go that route.

Looking for the Twistech. Already have some nice Knipex round points. Want to do spinners that are more uniform.

Yes they appear to be out of stock everywhere.

Probably due to issues relating to the pandemic.

Just like a lot of Do-It molds are currently out of stock.

Wish I could help you find one but I haven't seen them available anywhere either.

They are ~$70 cheaper than a Hagens.

So if you find a Hagens keep that in mind when deciding what to purchase.
