rayrraff
Does anyone have a technique for getting that mottled look on the outside of a soft bead?
JBuff
Let me see your mold, looks like each egg is individual by the cut mark. I'm working on a cluster that will allow me to add skein.
Fern
Maybe try dusting your mold with some mica powder. a mix of white and a bit of blue highlight should do it. Using a makeup sponge blot it on in random areas of the mold then inject the mold. Should give you the effect you are looking for.
seakarp
Just by looking at it, it looks like you should mix the underlying color in well, then add a bit of the lighter color and start very gently and slowly swirling it in . Then stop as soon as you see something you like stop and try pouring your creation.
JBuff
I hand pour only...what I'm working on is the illusion of a drifted cluster bait for steelhead.
