rollaboat
Hi guys new to pouring jigs and the forum. Just curious if anyone has tried or has any ideas on how to add a skirt keeper/collar to a jig mold that doesn't currently have one. I've seen a few posts on guys using a ball dremel but how well does that hold the skirt? Thinking I want a regular cone shaped but have no idea how to start. Thought? Bentrod425
I think a dremel is your best bet to modify an aluminum mold.
cadman
Like mentioned above a dremel and a light hand. Once you get to a certain point you can also use small hobby files which will cut slower but more precise.
