RiverSmallieGuy
I am curious as to what concepts/designs you guys use on crankbaits to get a wandering/hunting action along with a vertical wandering action. I have build 3 inch cedar squarebills that wander side to side, but also veer upward and back down a lot. Any ideas on how to achieve this? Would there be a specific lip shape or angle to get a great deflecting lure? I know that squarebills work great, but any thoughts?
Hillbilly voodoo
The term is a hunter or a crankbait that hunts There has been many discussions and information on this topic. Basically it is achieved by instability. This is not about any one lip shape or angle. I have achieved it with both shallow and moderate diving crankbaits One member has achieved it through a blade attachment so much would be missed retyping about it that I recommend a search on the topic
