Devcon 5 minute epoxy

My brother has been using the Devcon 5 minute epoxy for a while now and we have seen no yellowing yet.

Are the lures around a lot of UV light? And how long are we talking? I have heard that Devcon 5 minute is very thin for 5 minute. How long does it stay clear? How durable is it?

He's been painting pike and bass lures for 4 or 5 years. He typically has 4-6 rods loaded with plugs laying on the casting deck of his boat all day long while fishing and none of them have started yellowing. It is durable enough to stand up to those big pike teeth. I wouldn't say that it is very thin for 5 minutes, but it is thin enough to brush on the plugs for that long.

Wait, so he used Devcon 5 minute epoxy for clear coats on his pike/bass lures? Danggggg That must be a good clear coat for people who don't have a lure turner like me.
