willreinicke
How do you guys do it without bending tails? I have a bunch of plastic bags that hang and I have a huge wall in my shed of soft plastics I pour but if I let swimbaits sit too long on the wall, the rails start to get funky. Wondering if there is a better method. It’s not terrible, it might just be an OCD thing but I package lightly with worm oil to prevent sticking. Just noticed that tails start to bend and hold that bend after a little time.
hpssports
We use clamshell packaging from eclamshell.com
Painter1
Drop them in very hot water. They become pliable
Bassinfool
You can fix the ones with bent tails just by dipping them in near boiling water and then laying them out as straight as possible. Most guys are using clamshell packaging to try and prevent the bending. However, unless you're using formed packaging that conforms to individual baits it is possible you will still get some tail bending given enough time. willreinicke
Well spent a full day remelt and reshooting the baits to fix the bent tails, had no idea about the boiling water trick. Have them hanging and clamshells ordered. I’ll give it a shot, thanks for all the replies. Edited April 3, 2022 by willreinicke
