muskietom51
Hey guys I've got a few baits on the bench that I want to make jointed, my question is should I just use eye screws to attach? What about using a snap ring to join the 2. Just looking for some new ideas.
out2llunge
You can use screw eyes and if they're of the "open" type, you can hook them together and crimp them after they're joined. Alternatively, you with "closed" eyes, you can use a heavy (#7 or bigger) split ring to join the two eyes. And lastly, you could join them with a thru wire method. LaPala
How about embedding multistrand(49) wire like in my jointed minnow? For big muskie baits I think using up to 110lb wire should still be able to provide enough flex for the desired action.
