I assume that some moisture has gotten in at some point . How do I fix it without redoing the whole bait ?
Skeeter
The bubble is not from moisture. It is from air trapped in the pores of the wood. Wipe the bait with polyurathane on a rag and let it dry. Then touch sand the surface of the bait and wipe any dust off. The bait is ready to paint. You cannot get rid of the bubble to where it won't be seen at all by doing a spot fix. But this is the best way to do it. Put some epoxy on a toothpick and put it in the dimple. Cover the wet epoxy with a piece of scotch tape. After it is cured then just peel off the tape. It will come up fairly easy. Skeeter
