Aquaticmarlon
I’m working on doing a “hybrid tune” on the new style deps 250’s. Basically the hollow ABS body is filled with foam and the two figure 8 joints are removed and replaced with magnum screw eyes allowing it to be tuned. I understand how it’s done but I need recommendations on foam. I’ve searched around the forum but haven’t found this exact topic yet. Essentially I need a foam that’s as light as possible while still being strong enough to hold 2 screw eyes. I might just add MB’s to regular alumifoam but I’m hoping there’s a better option. azsouth
YouTube Butch Brown goes into detail how he does it but does not tell you the type of foam he uses. Many different types of urethane foam to start with.
