Jarrid
Is there a good way to keep powdercoat paint out of the eye on the brush jig? I tried heat shrink tubing like I do on other jigs but it didnt stay on at all. Looking to see what ideas some others may have.
Jig Man
I hold the eye of my jigs with needle nosed pliers or hemostats. When any paint gets in I run a spinnerbait wire through it then bake. I only heat the jig enough to get a dull light coating of paint on it so when paint gets in the eye there isn’t much. cadman
I dip the jig in the paint and run a drill bit through the eyelet. It cleans it out super fast. Check drill size on a raw jig, and then go slightly smaller, so the drill bit doesn't get stuck in the eyelet once paint is applied.
Big Epp
Oh that terrible moment when I take a batch of jigs out of the oven and realize, "shoot! I forgot to clear the eyes!"

After I took them out they looked so beautiful, then I realized I didn't clear the eyelets. So I thought no big deal, I'll just poke them through with a jig eye buster. Wrong, that didn't work because the paint was so hard. Had to work at it for a long time and that job was a money loser for me. Way too many hours to clean out the eyes. Never forgot again.
Munkin
Use Christmas ornament wire hangers and hang the jigs by the eye. Allen

Allen I'm thinking, "Why didn't I think of this?". Hanging (by the eye) also get the paint "flowing" away from the eye vs. just hanging it by the hook.
