champb
Here are some pics of my jigging spoons, or what we call around here slabs. Just got an airbrush so I am getting hooked on this deal, it is fun. Let me know what you all think, and if anyone has any suggestions that might improve my baits please let me know. Thanks. Richoc
Nice.... Good work keep them coming. But these should be in wire bait section, no offense.
RiverMan
Sweet, too nice to be on a jig you are going to beat to death! Put those paint jobs on a hard bait! Great job! jed
IslandBass
champb, Great paint jobs! I was wondering though if you also carved/shaped them also. Let me know if you need any assistance in "field testing" them.

champb
thanks to everyone for their kind replies, no i didn't carve these lures i made them from a shad spoon mold sold thru barlows tackle in texas and poured with lead. Made a variety of colors to test the areas around here with. Oh by the way i field test these every chance i get, and have found that they do work well. When the fishing is hot i have caught fish on them that have no paint just the lead and silver hook.
perchbustersd
Champ, did you make your own mold? i would like to make something like that in 1/8th oz.
dtrs5kprs
I've been fishing T-Rock too long. Forgot jig spoons came in a color besides white The first pic that appears is of the "casting spoon" mold...it makes a super jig spoon, esp in the 3/4oz size. Just right for spooning kentuckies. Have that mold, the sizes listed fish a little "small", think there is one cavity that is 1/4oz that is a good crappie/panfish size on that mold.
